This week's message is simple. Check your email. We strive to make sure our students gain the skills necessary to be successful in life. One of those skills is communication. We send you so much information and we need you to make sure you are getting it. For seniors, it has never been more important with the scholarship and graduation emails that are already hitting your inbox. We will tell our teachers to once again have you check your emails every Academic Enrichment Period but we know you have it in you to do it! Please do your part and check your email a couple times a day. Getting into this habit now will only benefit you in your future. Have a great week!

The boy's cross country team travelled to Sabetha on Saturday and brought home their first ever Regional Championship for Marysville. They will compete as a team at state at the very difficult Rim Rock Farm course in Lawrence. Nice job, gentlemen. And Good Luck at State!

If you missed last Monday's choir concert, then you missed a wonderful and moving performance by both our high school and junior high choirs. You can make sure you hear them again on December 13th at 7:00 pm for their winter concert. Our band will also have their winter concert a week earlier on December 6th at 7:00 pm. Come celebrate our musicians!

When I announced to the cafeteria at Wednesday's breakfast that I needed a table carried to the 4th floor, Teddy was quick to step up and help. Thanks for being a team player, Teddy!

Not only is Keagan the first one to give me a fist bump and clean his table at lunch, but he also came running when I needed a table moved the other morning. He is a great friend to all!

Pre-ACT (All 9th grade students) - Wednesday, October 25. You will report to the junior high gym at 8:15am and there will be no second chance breakfast. Please make sure you eat early breakfast!

Emma Harries, Shaylee Vering, Katelyn Schmitz, and Katelyn Schroedl presented to our Rotary last week about their student-led business, Bulldog Blooms. They did a fantastic job of talking about their process of starting and operating their flower business. They also answered all the questions our Rotarians had. Did you see students working to make our town a little more beautiful on Sunday? Our biology club spent part of their day cleaning the road just south of the airport all the way to St. Gregory's Cemetery. Thank you for doing your part to make Marysville a great place to live!
