All-State & All-American
We are very excited to share that two of our Pointer Gymnasts have received recognition from the Wisconsin High School Gymnastics Association and National High School Gymnastics Association!
-- All-American awards are very difficult to achieve and are a great honor to receive. To be eligible to receive this award, gymnasts must have an average score over a pre-determined number using scores from five competitions, two of which must be from a tournament of five or more teams, or from a sectional or state tournament. Ally Baehler earned this honor in the All-Around, Balance Beam, and Floor Exercise!
-- NHSGA also awards gymnasts for their academic success. Gymnasts must have a minimum grade point average of 3.75 to achieve this award. Congrats to our Pointers Ally Baehler and Alana DuBois!
-- All-State awards consider each varsity gymnasts' top five scores on each event. The average score is compared to gymnasts across Wisconsin. The top five are First Team, the next five are Second Team, and the next five are Honorable Mention. Congrats to Ally Baehler for earning Honorable Mention in the All-Around!
-- WHSGA also recognizes gymnasts for their academic successes. Gold level honors gymnasts with a GPA of 4.0 or above; Silver 3.75-3.9; and Bronze 3.5-3.74. Congrats to Ally Baehler and Alana DuBois for earning Silver status!

Care Closet
If you would like to donate to the Mineral Point Middle/High School Care Closet, please reach out to Social/Emotional Learning Coach Dani Robb (dani.robb@mp.k12.wi.us) or School Counselor Erika Brunson (erika.brunson@mp.k12.wi.us). We are in need of snacks for students and personal hygiene items. Monetary donations will also be accepted which will be used for specific student and family needs.
If you would like to donate to the Elementary Students in Need Fund, please reach out to School Psychologist Katelyn Oellerich (katelyn.oellerich@mp.k12.wi.us) or School Counselor Alex Welsh (alex.welsh@mp.k12.wi.us). We are in need of boys pants children’s sizes 4T up to 14/16 and undergarments for boys and girls in all children's sizes 4T up to 14/16. We are also in need of snacks for students and monetary donations which will be used for specific student and family needs.
