2nd Semester!!
I hope everyone has enjoyed the snow! We've all had different experiences with power outages and frozen roads, but I hope everyone had some time to spend with family!
Just a few announcements as we get into the second semester of school.
Snow Day Tomorrow, 1/18
A reminder that tomorrow is an e-learning day. RCE is still covered in snow/ice. Students will need to check Schoology for assignments. There will be no live WebEx lessons tomorrow. Teachers took time on Friday to explain to students where to find assignments.
RCE Covid Reporting
If your child has tested positive for Covid or has become a close/household contact of a positive case, please fill out the form below. We will be in touch by the end of the day. Please only call the school to report if you're having issues with the form.
It's very important that we're aware of any cases to keep spread at RCE low. Please continue to stay safe and healthy outside of school!
New RCE Nurse

End-of-Year Test Dates
May testing dates have been added to our website calendar (link to calendar). We will add more important dates to this calendar as we approach the end of the year.
6th Grade Chromebook Distribution
Beginning Monday, Jan. 24th we will be taking up 6th Grade Chromebooks. Students will be receiving a brand new 14 inch Lenovo Chromebook, charger, and case. These are top of the line with the latest technology. We will take up the current Chromebooks, chargers, and cases starting the 24th. If a student is missing any of the 3 items above they will be invoiced the amount necessary. All students will need to take off stickers they have added.
Some 7th and 8th grade students will receive the current 6th grade Chromebooks to replace old, slow, and broken devices.

Thurs 27th--- Livingston, Qualkinbush, & Spencer
New Flexible Learning Space
We are in the process of converting our locker room area into a flexible learning space. The locker room became obsolete years ago, due to Chromebooks and digital textbooks. This large area will become a place where teachers can bring classes for group work. Part of the new area will be a makers space for our business classes to work and create. See pictures below!
