Welcome to our seventh full week of school! Here's what's going on...

• This is just a friendly reminder that students 6th-8th should be reading daily for 15-20 minutes.
• Some teachers are sending an electronic reading log to parents. Please check your emails and submit that by Friday, Sept. 30th.
• Vocabulary practices are going home this week in 7th grade.
• 6th-8th grades will be having a final vocabulary quiz this week to finish off Unit 2A.
• Bring your library books every day!

• There will only be 3 more daily grades plus the 9 weeks test grade.
• Turn in all late/missing work for partial credit.
• Coach Manley will send progress reports home.
• Students need to be reading and studying every night.
• Everything is posted in Google Classroom. Ask your child to show you their work.

• 7th Graders are starting on inequalities. They will only have a few more grades before the grade book closes out. Coach Yount says they must turn in their two-step equation word problem project.
• 8th Graders are learning equations and inequalities.

Students will take their 9 weeks tests next Monday and Tuesday. Make-ups will be Wednesday and Thursday. Thursday is also incentive day. Grades must be finalized BEFORE teacher/parent conferences which are on Monday, Oct. 10th. If you would like to schedule a conference with a teacher or all the grade level teachers, please email them to set up an appointment.
