PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Happy Friday!
Though it is a beautiful dry day today, it has been a rainy stretch and will be again. Unless it is unsafe or literally pouring we make sure to get the kids outside. Since we do not have a supply of clothing at FMS, having an extra pair of socks and sweats on hand is a good idea.
We are entering the time of year when the schedule can fill up with events and activities, so don’t forget to check the school and classroom communications.

A reminder to families: THE BATH AREA FOOD BANK is a great resource for all RSU 1 families.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME and there are NO financial guidelines if you need groceries for your family.
If you live in the RSU1 area, YOU ARE WELCOME!
The Food Pantry is open Tuesday 4pm-6pm and Thursday 12pm-2pm. They supply you with canned goods, dairy items, frozen meats, baked goods, and you will be able to shop for produce, more baked goods, Panara, Starbucks, toiletries, and much much more.
Meals are served ‘to go’ on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 12:00-1:30. One meal per person. They offer a hot meal each day and a frozen meal to take home. They will be offering ‘kid’s meals’ during the summer months that will include a meal and a breakfast.
Follow them on facebook, Bath Area Food Bank, to get weekly updates on offerings. They often get regular donations of FRESH Haddock, Produce, Dairy, and lots of other items.
They have generously given us 10 single week scholarships for Summer Day Camp 2023!
What does that mean? 10 campers can attend camp for one week, FREE of charge.
Who qualifies? Anyone seeking financial help. (Within RSU #1, West Bath and Georgetown school districts) Our vision: give the opportunity to families in need who wouldn't normally be able to attend summer camps due to cost.
Who to contact? Please contact Dana at DDelahanty@cityofbath.com!
Thank you Davenport Trust!
