This Week @ PS 88Q
June 4th, 2023
STEM NIGHT: Tuesday June 6th 4:30pm-6:30pm
A Message From Mrs. O'Shaughnessy
Happy June! Well that was quick. Seems like just yesterday we opened the gates and our eager students entered the building. Now we are preparing to close out the 2022-2023 school year, and all that goes with that. Stepping Up, Graduations, culminating events, theater performances, band performances, family opportunities and so much more. It has been a great year but we are not done yet! June is packed full of events to keep the connections going throughout the summer. Remember, I work all year, so reach out anytime!
This past weekend, we celebrated the diversity and amazingness of District 24! The event was such a hit, and put all of our schools in one place for the first time. Mr. Ingino, who was our point person and lead for this event, thought of every detail. Those of us who were there to present PS 88Q to the community followed his vision. Mr. Ingino fell last week and became injured and could't be there in person, but his presence was felt. Thank you Mr. Ingino for al you did to show the district how amazing PS 88Q is. Ms. Prinzevalli, Ms. Ciminelli, Ms. Tavella, Ms. Heras-Torres, Ms. Ivett Perez-Lopez, Ms. Pepe, and Mr. Dumont were there all day to represent our amazing school. Thank you!

3K Has Chicks!
Ms. Ciminelli's room was the place where our chicks entered the world! Our early childhood team has been waiting for the arrival of these little chicks. The students observed, made hypothesis' on their arrival, and all things that go with the birth of chicks. As the eggs began to crack, the excitement grew! Check out these little ones enter this world, and PS 88Q.
