Happy New Year! I hope you were all able to enjoy the holiday season with family and friends. It certainly went fast! School will resume for students on Thursday, January 4. You may also want to mark your calendars for February 5 and 8 to attend Parent-Teacher Conferences.

Oakland-Craig Public Schools has reached a free and reduced percentage of 42.55% for the elementary. As a result, we now have the opportunity to apply for the Community Eligibility Provision for the elementary because we have exceeded the 40% free/reduced student population requirement. If approved, ALL of our ELEMENTARY students would receive free breakfast and lunch, regardless of their free/reduced status.

Our Jr./Sr. High is sitting at 34.08%. There is still time to reach 40% though. Please consider completing the free/reduced meal application with the hope that we can reach 40% for the Jr./Sr. High and have the opportunity to serve free meals to all students in our district.

Winter is here and with that we likely will see more inclement weather, but hopefully not a lot. All weather delays and closures will be announced via our OneCall system, local news stations (KTIC, The Bull, KETV, etc.), and our school social media pages. If you are not on the OneCall system and you would like to be, please contact the school office. Community members are welcome to receive calls as well! You do not have to be a parent to receive our OneCalls. If you want to stay up to date with what is happening at the school, we are happy to add you to our list!

January 4 - Students Return for 2nd Semester
