First day for KCS staff is Monday, August 26th!

Safe & Civil Schools Training

On Monday, August 26th and Tuesday, August 27th our entire staff will be engaged in CHAMPS training with Tricia (Trish) McKale Skyles. We had the privilege of working with her last school year when she provided an inservice at Kayhi. Our staff will benefit greatly from the practical approach to classroom management CHAMPS provides. I will be getting a more detailed agenda from Trish soon but here is the general times for those days of training.

Arrive to work at normal start times
8:00 - 11:30 Morning Session
11:30 - 12:30 LUNCH (you're on your own for your lunch hour)
12:30 - 3:00 Afternoon Session

All Sessions will take place in Greg Gass's room

Event Information

Write Tools Training

The following teachers will need to attend the Write Tools - Narrative: Real & Imaginative training on Wednesday August 28th & Thursday August 29th. Your training will be in the Green Room at Kayhi. You will begin your first session after the District Welcome Back on the morning of the 28th.
