Need to Know Information
Permission Slips for Crane Swimming Pool: A permission slip for the second field trip to the pool was sent home Friday. This form must be turned in by at least Thursday, June 15.
Crane City Pool Field Trip: We will be going to the Crane City Pool on Friday, June 16, from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM, prior to it opening to the public. If your child cannot swim, we do suggest sending your child with a lifejacket. Your child should wear his or her swimsuit under his/her clothes on pool days to school. Each student should also bring a towel, sunscreen and a complete change of clothes to change into after we return from the pool. We will return to school and eat lunch at school that day.
Still Important...
Change of Clothes for Kindergarten and 1st Grade Students: Accidents sometimes happen at school. Please pack an extra pair of clothes including underwear in your child's backpack if he or she is in kindergarten or first grade.
Student Drop Off: The student drop-off line for ALL summer school students will be at the Crane High School entrance. See the aerial map below for directions. Students should be dropped off by 7:40 AM!
Student Pick Up: The parent pick-up line for Elementary students will be in the back of the building at the Library Media Center Entrance just like it is during the school year for kindergarten through 6th grade students. See the aerial map below for directions.
All Students Eat Breakfast and Lunch for FREE!: Students can bring their lunch from home if they would like, but every student will take a tray for breakfast and lunch.
Boys & Girls Club: Students going into 1st grade and up can be enrolled for the Boys & Girls Club for afterschool care until 6:00 PM each day (Tuesdays through Fridays). If your child is enrolled in Boys & Girls Club for the summer session will be bussed to First Baptist Church where BGC is being held. You will need to pick your child up from the church after school.
The cost for the summer school session is $15 per week per child. They also will have full-day care the last week in June and the month of July for $30 per week per child. Contact Chasity at the Club with any questions at 417-294-2468.
