The GV Boys Basketball team ended their season on Saturday with a loss to top seeded Avoca in the Sectional Final at Blue Cross Arena. The Jags finish with a record of 18-5. Cody Schneider and Brock Ellsessor were named to the all-tournament team.

Maureena Chamberlain has worked at GVCS for the past 19 years. Her first 12 years were spent as a Teacher Assistant in the Library and the last 7 years she’s been an Administrative Assistant for the Elementary Office. “I really enjoy my work and look forward to coming daily (summers are a little tougher!)”

Maureena has been married to her high school sweetheart Chris for the past 34 years. They have two grown accomplished daughters, Lindsey and Emily. When not working, Maureena likes to walk her golden retriever, Maggie, exercise, and go boating in the summer.
