Guided 365 Day Reflection Journal
Scripture For Grief, Recovery, & Joy for February 17

Today's Prayer
This is my comfort in my affliction, that your promise gives me life.
Psalm 119:50 ESV
Today's Guide
When preparing for today, think about the following: God’s Guardrails and Commitment.
Food For Thought
The Lord's promise gives us guardrails to rely on and a commitment to persevere through life's ups and downs. It helps build our confidence that He is with us, no matter what we face, providing comfort and hope in the most difficult of circumstances.
His unfailing love allows us to remain faithful, even when it's hard. It's a reminder that no matter what we face, He will never leave or forsake us. No matter how deep the valley might be, His promises are always true, and He is our rock to cling to in times of trouble.
The Lord's promise gives us the strength to live an abundant life, one full of joy, love, patience, and perseverance. This promise brings us peace and reminds us that even if it feels like things are falling apart around us, God still has a plan for us — a plan of thriving and hope.
Today, He reminds us He is our comfort in the afflictions, and in those, He won't forsake us, He won't leave us, and He will always be with us. His promises give us the strength to persevere in our faith day after day — and that's something we can cling to no matter what life throws at us.
What afflictions are you facing? Take some time to pause, reflect, and lay them at God's feet. How can you rely on the Lord's promises in your life?
Gratitude
The Lord's promises provide hope and solace even in the worst circumstances. When we are at our lowest points, His promises give us life. When you walk through the hills and valleys of life with Him, how can you find hope, peace, and rest?
Today's Prayer
Lord, Your promises and love keep my heart at peace. You are true and faithful. I am grateful, Lord, that You are mindful and walking with me through my life's highs and lows.
Amen
