After School Activity Registration
Registration for Winter After School Activity courses at DW opens at 8 p.m. Friday, November 11, and closes at 8 p.m. Friday, December 9, or until filled. Please use the RevTrak Web Store platform to register for all programs listed here. Programs do fill up and are offered on a first-come-first-serve basis. Classes begin after school the week of January 9 and run for about six weeks. Please visit the After School Activities website for detailed information about these clubs.
- Anime: On Tuesdays, students in grades 6-8 will share their appreciation for all different Japanese animation. It's a place where anime fans can gather and share their common interests through drawing, listening, and viewing anime.
- Art: On Tuesdays, students in grades 6-8 develop their creative skills and create original artwork.
- Chamber Orchestra: On Mondays, students in grades 6-8 will play chamber orchestra music and explore advanced music.
- Digital Audio Production: On Thursdays, students in grades 6-8 will record and edit music and podcasts using digital audio workstations.
- Fiber Arts: On Thursdays, students in grades 6-8 will learn to sew, quilt, knit, crochet, and more.
- Games: On Thursdays, students in grades 6-8 have the opportunity to participate in team-building activities, which include the following: card games, board games, and video games.
- Poetry: On Thursdays, students in grades 6-8 will make words their playground as they read, write, and share poems in a fun and welcoming community. All experience levels invited.
- STEAM: On Thursdays, students in grades 7-8 will expand their STEM knowledge by learning about various topics like physics, anatomy, genetics, and more.
- Vocal Solo and Ensemble Workshop: On Wednesdays, students in grades 6-8 who are currently enrolled in chorus will prepare for upcoming contests with instruction in selecting appropriate literature, working on practice habits, considering performance techniques, and overcoming performance anxiety.
- Warhammer Alliance: On Wednesdays, students in grades 6-8 will dive into epic sci-fi and fantasy works 40,00 years in the future. Join fellow tabletop enthusiasts crafting, painting, and playing one of the most popular miniatures games in the world.

Other After School Opportunities
Wresting
Wrestling is open to all DW students.The wrestling program will teach wrestling fundamentals and instill values of hard work, self-discipline, and the importance of goal setting. No prior experience in wrestling is needed. Practices begin the week of December 5.
