In December, the board of education voted to increase tuition rates for the 2023-2024 school year. This decision is based on the increase we've seen in our instructional supplies. Research on local area preschools and daycares was conducted to inform decisions to help offset price hikes in materials, as well as making Kings Early Childhood Center tuition comparable to surrounding early childhood centers.
Due to very low enrollment numbers over the past several years, Kings will no longer offer a two-day class option. We will continue offering our 4 day classes and a young 5s class.
Tuition Prices for - 2023-2024
4 Day Multi-Age Class = $3705
5 Day Class (4 & 5 year olds only) = $3900
The tuition can be broken down into a weekly payment option. This request can be made in the registration packet. Weekly installments are $95 per week for 4 day classes, and $100 per week for the Young 5s class. Registration will open up to all current families on Monday, January 9th.
Your current yearly tuition is broken down into weekly billing cycles. You may choose to pay your entire yearly tuition rate, or you may pay in weekly installments. Below is the statement from the parent handbook:
Parents are expected to accept the financial commitment for the entire duration of the school year program. Preschool operates on the same schedule as Kings Local Schools and observes the same holidays. Regular tuition will be paid during Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, and Spring Break.
Tuition is calculated for the entire school year based on the programs you choose. For your convenience, your yearly tuition is broken down into weekly payments. Your weekly payment is due every Monday, unless paid in advance. Tuition not received by Wednesday of that week will be considered past due and assessed a late fee of $10.00 for each week tuition is not paid. However, two weeks unpaid tuition could result in dismissal from the program. Withdrawal from the program requires a two week paid written notice to be submitted to the preschool office.
