Dear Cambrian Families,

Happy October! I hope you and your family enjoy the wonderful weather and engaging activities at each of our school sites in October. Please take a moment to watch the above video to catch up on all the goings on throughout the district.


Also, please make a note that Wed., Nov. 1, there is no school for students. It is a professional development day for staff.

Local Control Accountability Plan Thought Exchange

We are excited to launch this exchange. Your input will help us reflect on our success and the progress to be made as a district. It will also inform our Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) and Strategic Plan development for the next 3 years. 2023-24 CSD LCAP Goals:


  1. High Academic Achievement - CSD will provide high-quality and dynamic instruction for ALL students while preparing them for next-generation college and career readiness.

  2. Effective Leadership, Teaching, and Learning - CSD will provide high-quality staff through recruitment, retention, and professional development so every student thrives.

  3. Positive School Environment, Climate, and Culture - CSD will provide a supportive, orderly, and purposeful environment so that students can reach their full academic potential.

  4. Strong Parent and Community Engagement - CSD will promote a welcoming and inclusive environment for all parents, families, and community stakeholders as partners in the education and support of all students' success in school.

Cambrian School District is a member of the Community Advisory Committee (CAC) for families with students receiving Special Education Services.
