Genesee Jr/Sr High School
Summer Update Part 1 of 2 - 8/2/23
A Message From The Principal
Genesee Students and Families,
I hope that you all are relaxing and enjoying your summer break. We'll host various events in a few short weeks, including sports physical night, schedule pick-up, and 7th/freshman orientation night. We hope to see many of you there.
I want to update you on some of the changes you may see. We have renovations in the cafeteria that will add needed space and modern style to the lunch room. Students can also eat outside in the newly poured area during lunchtime.
You will also notice that our junior high gymnasium is being completely repainted. We are incredibly excited to show off the finished product as we host many events in that space throughout the school year.
SMARTBoards will be present in every single classroom. Our teachers will implement this upgraded technology into their instruction and provide our students with hands-on and creative learning experiences.
As you pull into the parking lots, you'll begin to see banners on the light posts. The flags will add a sense of pride and showcase our logos to the public.
Genesee Jr/Sr High School had several successful moments last year, and we hope to build on that this year.
