The Band Makes School History
Under the direction of Mr. Kennedy, the Moore Concert Band competed at UIL on March 30th and walked away with the highest ratings the band has ever received in all of Moore's history. Prior to last week, the non-varsity band has never earned a sweepstakes.
The band received a superior division I rating in both the stage performance and sight reading performance. This earned the band the title of a sweepstakes band.
Recordings of the performance are below. Thank you teachers and parents for providing this opportunity for our students. We are very proud of our mustang musicians!

Junior VASE Art Contest Results
*Scores of 4's are the top points received in the first round of judging. All 4's are entered into the second round of judging per division level. Only 10% of 4's in each Division (Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, and Division 4) are selected for the Platinum Medal Winner.
*Scores of 3's are awarded to the students that almost made it to a score of 4. They receive a Certificate of Achievement for their Division. All students that receive a score of 4 also receive this certificate for making it through the first round of judging.
All of these students did an amazing job and I am super proud of these talented Moore MST Artists! 🙂

Parents of Soccer Players,
To support our athletic program and other school programs, the Moore PTA provides concessions at home soccer games. All soccer parents are asked to sign up for at least one volunteer spot at the concession stand this season. We recommend that you sign up during the time that your child is not playing. For example, if your child is on the A team, we recommend you sign up for the B Team slot. This way you can watch your child while they play. Another option is to volunteer in the concession stand while your child IS playing, knowing that there is a very good view of the field from the concession stand.
A PTA board member is always present in the concession stand to train all volunteers. By volunteering for one spot, we can support our school and share the load between all of the parents instead of just a few. Please click the link below to confirm your spot.
