We are excited to share our 2022 Talent Show Video! A special thank you to one of our amazing parents, Brittney Granillo, who collaborated with our students and families to arrange this fantastic collection of student acts. We will be showing this video to our students at school next week.

Thank you for your generosity on our Red Shoe Day. We collected over $3,000 that will go towards the Ronald McDonald House. Many of us have connections with someone who has benefited from the Ronald McDonald House and it is awesome to know that our school helped make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Thank you to our first grade students and teachers for spear-heading such a fantastic event!

You may not know but our very own 3rd grade teacher Mr. Downin is a hot air balloon pilot! We are excited Mr. Downin will be bringing actual hot air balloons out to the Bernardo field next Tuesday, June 7 for our students to explore. Parents are invited to join us if they would like - just sign in at the front office when you arrive and then head on down to the field!

Below are the assigned times for each grade level:

• 8:05 - 8:30 - 4th Grade
• 8:30 - 8:55 - 2nd Grade
• 8:55-9:20 - 1st Grade
• 9:20-9:45 - TK/Kindergarten
• 9:45-10:10 - 3rd Grade
• 10:10-10:35 - 5th Grade

We are excited to announce that our PTA has contracted with a company called Maestro Music who will be providing weekly music classes to every Bernardo class next year! Students will learn the basic concepts of music while having a fantastic time. Parents can look forward to a wonderful concert that they will be invited to attend next year.

This program is made possible thanks to the generosity of all of our families who have supported our fund-raisers throughout the year.

On Tuesday, June 14, school will dismiss at 12:10 for all Kindergarten through 5th grade classes. Please plan ahead accordingly!

For those who ordered a yearbook, they will be delivered to students next Friday, June 10 at the end of the school day.

If you did not order a yearbook and would like to do so, we'll have some available for purchase after school on Friday, June 10 out in front of the school by the front office.

Our PTA will also be selling Spirit Wear so if you'd like to stock up before the end of the school year, stop on by!

All student iPads will be turned in next week. If your child has one at home, please be sure that he/she brings it to school.

We will be placing our lost and found bin out in front of the school again next Friday, June 10. Please come by if you are missing any jackets, water bottles, gloves, headbands, toys, etc. As you can see below, we have lots and lots of items. After June 14, we'll be donating any leftover items to charity.
