Online registration is open through July 30th, and a parent in the household where the student primarily resides may complete the registration forms using the Parent Portal:

- Only the parents or guardians listed as the primary residence family will have access to complete the forms.
- If you don't have a Parent Portal Account, or if you have questions, please call 816-892-1333. If you have forgotten your Parent Portal password, there is a link to request that it be sent to you on the login site.
Registration will be centralized for all PreK-12 students at the Ray-Pec South Middle School building, 20501 S. School Rd., Peculiar. (See more information below.)
Verify residency:
When you register your student(s) for the 2019-2020 school year, you need to provide one document to verify residency. Acceptable proofs of residency include utility bills (water, electric, or gas) in the resident's name, showing the service address. The documents must be recent (within 30 days). A final notice or disconnect notice is not an acceptable proof of residency. For more information about residency verification, contact Debbie Johnson at 892-1347 or Rebecca Coster at 892-1341.
FAST PASS option:
You have the option to submit proof of residency by email. Parents/legal guardians who submit acceptable residency proof by email and complete their online registration forms prior to July 21st will receive a "FAST PASS" to allow you to bypass the residency line at registration and proceed directly to the room designated for your child's school.
Email residency@raypec.org and include the following information in the email message:
● Name(s) of your student(s), their grade level(s) and the building(s) they will attend.
● Your address.
● A phone number where you can be reached.
● Attach a PDF copy of your electric, gas, or water bill (may be scanned) to the email.
If you do not submit proof of residency online, please bring one document when you register your student(s).

PREVIEW DAY
Preview day is a day specifically designed for freshmen students to provide them with an opportunity to spend a half-day in the morning at the high school campus so as to experience what a typical day of high school will look like for them. Preview Day is an excellent opportunity for incoming students to familiarize themselves with the high school campus and the high school experience. During Preview Day, students will be given the chance to tour the building, to visit with their advisory groups, to meet high school faculty members, and to visit with the junior and senior mentors that have been assigned to work with them throughout their freshmen year.
This event is for students only and bus transportation will be provided by the district.. Buses will run their normal morning routes at their normal morning times. We highly recommend this event for all of our incoming freshmen.
