Happy Holidays to our P37R Families

Dear Families,

I want to take a moment to thank our families for partnering with us as we end 2022 and welcome in 2023. We wish our families a very happy holiday season filled with joy, good health, lots of laughter and wonderful moments. Enjoy winter break and we look forward to welcoming our students back on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

High Schoolers Hard at Work!

Our high school students are back in the community and developing wonderful, impactful post secondary skills! We celebrated students successes and partnered with many new organizations on Staten Island. We are excited to share new worksites in 2023!

We are increasing opportunities for our students with our new partnerships with SITHS and NY Urban Assembly Harbor School!

Harbor School Partnership

Our students have not stopped talking about their visit to The Harbor School on Governor's Island! Such a wonderful opportunity for our students to have new experiences with other high school students! They were most excited to learn about the Billion Oyster Project. We are looking forward to great things to come with this partnership in the New Year!

SIDDC Achievement Awards

Our students were recognized by the SIDDC for their amazing accomplishments in Ballroom Dancing. They were the stars of the Awards Ceremony as they showed off their moves with Zoe, their amazing dance instructor. We love our partnership with Ballroom Basix!

Bike NYC

We partnered with NYC Bike Program to teach our high school students how to ride bikes! Each student learned the skills it takes to ride a bike and received a helmet that they can take home with them! High School teachers, JP, Anthony Sarci, Anthony Miceli and Anthony DeRosa were trained in this great program and we look forward to continuing in the spring!

Pastry Parlor

Students have been busy working in The Pastry Parlor. They prepare cold brew for customers and have baked goods in the mornings! Students love this in-house vocational training program!

Boy Scouts

Our Boy Scouts come together each month for a great activity, socialization with friends, and love to recite the scouts honor! If your son attends the main site and has not yet joined, we highly suggest you do so!

Our Girl Scout troop continues to do amazing things with their troop leader, Lisa Rosenfeld! If your daughter has not yet joined, we highly suggest you do so!
