Principal's Message
Dear Families,
I hope you have a safe and happy break. Staff and students alike are ready for some rest and relaxation. If you will be in town for the break, there are still some wonderful programming opportunities celebrating Black History Month.

Students have been working on Black History Month research projects in class. They will showcase their work for other classes in early March.
Please review the "test to return" information below.
Warm Regards,
Holly Searl, Principal
Test to Return and COVID Response Update
All students and staff are required to submit a COVID-19 rapid antigen test result on Sunday, February 27 by 9:00pm in order to return to school on Monday, February 28. Test kits have been sent home in your child's backpack this week. Families will upload test results on the DCPS Reopen Strong website. A smooth and efficient re-entry into school depends on families uploading their results on time on Sunday night. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
As we continue to learn about the COVID-19 virus, especially the omicron variant, DC Health has updated its guidance for schools to follow in limiting the spread of COVID-19 in our buildings and among our community.
DCPS is working through the steps to implement further updates following the February break, and you will hear more from DCPS directly on the additional adjustments that will be made. For now, the current guidance remains in effect.
