Dolphin Digest Family Edition

Here’s NOVEMBER! This school year is trucking right along and we are “keeping the learning going” @theSprings! We are inviting all families to come and have Thanksgiving Lunch with us on November 16th. Lunch will cost $5.00 per person and the lunch schedule will be adjusted so that we can accommodate families. You may purchase tickets through Friday, November 10th. This will help our cafeteria team ensure that we have enough food for the celebration.

We are hosting our first Campus Architectural Team (CAT) meeting on Monday! This team will be the collaborative voice that will guide the planning of our modernized (new) building. Join us for upcoming CAC, PTA or “What’s Poppin with Principal Jackson” meetings to get on-going updates.

Reminder, November 13th is a student holiday and there is no school. Fall Break is November 20- November 24.

Invitamos a todas las familias a venir y almorzar el Día de Acción de Gracias con nosotros el 16 de noviembre. Wow! I can't believe we're already at November. Every month we've taken a closer look at the Dolphin Digest. This month, we will focus on the R - "I RESPECT myself and others!" We will explore what respect means, looks like, and sounds like for ourselves and others. Students will also learn about teamwork, communication, and gratitude.

¡Guau! No puedo creer que ya estemos en noviembre. Cada mes analizamos más de cerca el Dolphin Digest. Este mes nos centraremos en la R: "¡RESPETO a mí mismo y a los demás!" The Central Texas Food Bank’s social services team is continuing to assist clients with applying for SNAP (along with Medicaid, TANF, Healthy Texas Women, Medicare Savings Program, CHIP and CHIP Perinatal). We offer help with applications remotely and on-site. Our offices are located at 6500 Metropolis Drive, Austin, Texas 78744.

For the safety of our staff and the community we serve, we have implemented social distancing models and can see a limited number of clients at one time on-site at the Food Bank. To get help with applications on-site, please call our hotline to make an appointment first at 855-366-3401.
