Intern For A Day
Connecting with employers has never been easier! The Intern For A Day program allows students to visit an employer in order to build your resume, network with professionals and investigate a career.
The Career Center partners with employers in Atlanta and Athens for a one day job shadowing opportunity. To learn more, please attend one of the 4 sessions and learn how to apply.

Experiential Learning Fair
Date: February 14, 2018
Time: 11:00 am until 3:00 pm
Location: Tate Student Center, Grand Hall - 5th Floor
Undergraduate students are invited to participate in the inaugural Experiential Learning Fair to be held in the Tate Center Grand Hall on Feb. 14, 11am-3pm. Co-sponsored by the Office of Experiential Learning, Career Center, and Student Government Association, the event will feature several units and programs from across campus that offer approved courses and non-credit EL activities. Free pizza and refreshments will be served for the first students through the door. There is no required dress code.
Students will get the opportunity to talk to the staff who coordinate the programs, as well as to other students participating in their EL activities. View participating programs and details here.
Arch Ready Spring 2018: Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace

In this session, you will learn how to:
- Recognize how identity and the challenges associated with discussing identity in the workplace
- Identify aspects of an inclusive work environment
- Understand the benefits and the challenges of employee privilege
- Utilize strategies and resources for addressing diversity related issues in the workplace

Arch Ready Spring 2018: Resumes and Cover Letters
Date: March 6, 2018
Time: 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm

Join us for this interactive resume and cover letter presentation where you will leave with the ability to format a professional resume and cover letter, tailor a resume and cover letter to specific employers, industries, and jobs, and learn how to articulate your skills and experiences on a resume and cover letter.
