Online Student of the Month
Jessica Kautz
We are pleased to recognize Jessica Kautz as the May 2021 Online Student of the Month for NCC. Students are nominated by their online instructors. We recognize one student per month.
Jessica will complete her Medical Assisting Specialized Diploma in August 2021. She plans to work for St.Luke's Health Network and return to NCC to become an LPN.
Jessica shared the following comments: “What I like best about taking online courses is that all course content is very accessible. With online courses I can complete all assignments on my own time, which allows me to be employed while being a college student.”
Her nominator shared the following: “Jessica has been in several of my healthcare office administration classes, and as with every class, she goes above and beyond. Her submitted assignments are clearly done with above standard effort and time. Every assignment is turned in on time without excuse. Jessica truly has been a joy to have in class over her time at NCC and deserves this recognition.”
Have you noticed a stand out student in your online course this semester?? Consider nominating them to be recognized as next month's NCC Online Student of the Month! Fill out this quick online form to nominate them:

Professor Burak will be teaching Intro to Philosophy and Ethics and Moral Problems online this summer. When asked to provide one of his favorite things about teaching online, he said the following: “I love the opportunity to teach from multiple locations and to actually incorporate those locations into my lesson. I taught one class, for example, about yurts, inside a yurt. Another about forests while walking through a lush forest.”
Professor Burak’s nominator shared the following: “Professor Burak has a pleasant manner that is very engaging which makes it easy for him to hold the interest of his students. His class is both fun and a learning experience. I highly recommend taking any class that he teaches.”
