AMI Learning Days: Your child should have completed the work for Day 1 and Day 2 so far in the AMI Packet. These two days' worth of work are due on Tuesday. We are hopeful everyone completed this work so we do not have to make up the days with seated instruction. Day 3 and Day 4 work should remain in a safe place at home or in your child's communication folder.

Should Your Child Come to School?: With recommendations from the CDC, we will be following the Flow Chart pictured below when concerning COVID. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Absences: If your child is going to be absent from school, regardless of reason, we need you to call the Elementary office to let us know. If you call before anyone is at school, please leave a voicemail letting us know your child's name and reason for absence. The office phone number is 417-723-5300 ext. 1301.

Honor Choir Practice: Honor Choir will have practice on Tuesday morning. Students should arrive at 7:25 AM and report to the music room.

Stuff the Staff Fridge Round 2: Many of you blessed our staff the first time around and many of you missed out and wanted to help a second time. Therefore, we are doing Round 2 of Stuff the Staff Fridge. The staff absolutely loved this gesture. If you are willing to help out, please sign up for a treat to bring in sometime this week! We appreciate everyone's help! The sign up can be found here.

Glow Kids Book Study: We will be starting our Parent Book Study on Tuesday, January 18 at 5:30 PM in the Elementary Preschool Commons Area. Those participating will receive their copy of the book that evening and we will share the reading plan for the study. If you have not signed up to participate in the book study, and would like to join us, please let the Elementary Office know so we can ensure we have enough books ordered! So far, we have 26 families signed up!

Volunteer Training: If you are wanting to be a volunteer in our school on a regular basis, mark your calendars for Wednesday, January 19 for our training! This will be at 8:15 AM in our Elementary Data Room. This training should take less than an hour. Please call the elementary office at 417-723-5300 ext. 1301 to RSVP for the training.

Boys & Girls Club is Hiring: The Boys & Girls Club is hiring Youth Development Professionals for the Crane location. Once they hire their staff, then we will be able to start offering afterschool care! If you or someone you know is interested in working for BGC, please apply at the website found here.

Transportation Changes: We understand plans can change throughout the day. If transportation plans change for your child, please call the office to let Whitney know so she can ensure your child gets the message. Some parents have been messaging teachers on Dojo and there are days teachers do not see messages until after students have left for the day. We would hate to miss an important message!
