Patriot Nation,

Thank you for another great week at Dr. Bryan C. Jack Elementary! We had the opportunity to celebrate a few more Lighthouse Student Leaders, our Student Lighthouse team was finalized and we culminated the week with our Sharpen the Saw Clubs. Our Leader in Me program is continuing to grow and we appreciate all of the support from those at home. If you have a chance to document any of the Parent Engagement activities that are featured each week, we would love the opportunity to share them with others as well (you can email picture to Laura.Boyd@tylerisd.org). We know that community and parent engagement is more important than ever and we would love to see the great things that are being reinforced at home with our Habits! We will be having our fall pictures this Tuesday, October 20th. Lifetouch will be here to do individual pictures for our Patriots. Social distancing and proper protocols will be in place during the picture sessions. If you child is an @home learner, we will be doing those pictures on December 8th. Mark your calendars!

We have Patriots that have returned to campus this six weeks and wanted to send out a reminder about our dismissal procedures. Please know that we no longer have walk up dismissal. You have the option of using our carline, or your child can be a walker. Please let you teacher know how your Patriot will be getting home each day. If something changes for an emergency, please let our front office know and we can inform our teachers.
