All parties are from 8:15-9:15am on Wednesday, December 21.

Guests should wait in their cars or in the main office hallway until 8:15. Guests are welcome to walk items to the classroom prior to the party, but asked to return to the main hallway until it is time for the parties to begin.

Thank you to all who brought in gloves, hats and scarves to donate this week. It is heart-warming knowing we have so many families who want to help those in need.

Penguin Patch sales were a huge success! We were amazed to see how thoughtful students were when selecting gifts for loved ones this week. We are so happy they will get the opportunity to experience the joy of giving this time of year.

We have had many parents inquire about ideas for gifts for staff. Here is a list of teacher/staff favorites, that can also be found on our website. Some teachers even have Amazon wishlists attached!

To help kickoff our first season, the Lady Falcon Soccer Team and Coaches would like to offer FREE soccer trainings in January to our 3rd - 7th Grade Lady Falcons.

Your athlete must be a enrolled in the Blair Oaks School District. Training sessions are listed below and will be held at the Blair Oaks Intermediate School.

Locations could change depending on gym availability and weather. An email/social media post will be released if times/locations change.

We have discussed a variety of important topics in Counseling this month! We talked about the importance of respecting ourselves and others, making good choices, having a positive mindset, being a good teammate / working together with others, and being thankful. Throughout this month, we also had the opportunity to review and practice the following mindfulness techniques in Counseling: Relaxed Breathing, 4-Count Breathing, Deep Breathing Turkey, Figure Eight Breathing, and Mindfulness Exercise for Gratitude. You can expand on what we have discussed in Counseling at home by having a conversation with your child about any of the topics we covered and asking them to demonstrate and/or share with you how to do some of the mindfulness techniques we did together in class!

The Intermediate Student of the Month is 5th grader, Owen Hull! December's character trait is compassion/kindness. Congratulations, Owen!
