April 24th - Field Trip to the Zoo for 3rd and 4th Grades
April 29th - Field Trip to Kids Commons for 1st Grade
Looking Ahead:
May 2nd - Boomer Convocation 8:30 A.M.
May 8th - School Music Program - 5:30. Doors will not open until 5:10.
Students meet in classrooms at 5:15 (Please do not come earlier as there will not be supervision until 5:15).
The theme is "Rock Around the 50's"! Students may wear "50's" attire for the program if desired.
May 5th - 9th - Book Fair
May 5th - Last History Club
May 6th - PTO Mtg. @ 5:30

May 8th - Book Fair Open 5:00-7:00 p.m.

6th Graders will go Bowling and eat pizza from 12:00-2:30
May 27th - Last Teacher Day
May 28th - June 10th - Summer Remediation for 2nd/3rd graders

Transportation Changes
Please make sure to contact the school office at 765-629-2323 if you have a transportation change. Classroom teachers may not be able to check emails until the end of the day and therefore may miss the message. Changes need to be made by 2:00 p.m.
According to the Milroy Elementary Handbook, "All students will be sent home according to the instructions parents provide at registration unless there is written notice or phone communication from the parent or guardian. If unexpected changes in transportation occur, please contact Milroy Elementary School Office prior to 2:00 p.m."

"There will be no "guest bus passes" for any students on Rush County School buses. Students will not be allowed to take friends home with them on the bus for a party or sleepover."
BUS RIDERS
Students are to only ride the bus assigned to him/her. We are not able to allow students to "bus hop" and ride home with friends, etc. Thanks for your help with this.
