We cannot say THANK YOU enough for helping us make PIZZA/BINGO night such a success!

It was such a success that we unfortunately ran out of Bingo cards on two different occasions, but because of our great Discovery Community stepping up and generously giving up a card or two everyone was able participate. THANK YOU!

Thank you to all of our volunteers who helped set up, sell, and tear down! We cannot have these events without the help of volunteers.

Be on the lookout for communication from the PTO on ways that you can help make that event just as successful as all of the others this year.

The Discovery Cares fund has already been put to use! Because of your generosity, we were able to help bring much needed smiles and support to two parties within the Discovery Community.

At our March meeting, board nominations were discussed. Current VP Megan Gulden and Treasurer Kristen Stolz are stepping down leaving 2 open positions on the PTO board. Nominations were as follows: Abby Wratz, current President was nominated to remain in this position for the next school year. Elizabeth Burns was nominated for the Vice President position. Eva Hudelson was nominated as Treasurer. Chantel Hudelson and Lori Ollerich, current Co-Secretaries were nominated to remain in this position.

Voting will take place at the April meeting.

Discovery Elementary School families!

We are excited to kick off our Discovery Elementary Fun Run on 04/17/2023. Our goal is to raise $60,000 for our annual budget and funds for the outdoor turf to strengthen our school community.

Our school has always relied on fundraising to provide exceptional opportunities for our teachers to enhance student learning and strengthen our Discovery community. We need YOUR HELP registering your student(s) and sharing with friends and family.

Our program also comes with a world-class character theme. This year’s theme is GRAND LAND ADVENTURE; a national parks theme all about building character through the rugged beauty and wild wonders of the great outdoors. By exploring some of the most iconic national parks in America, students will learn how to live a life of adventure and character.

The second annual Discovery Day Bash is not far away! The Bash is a great way to celebrate the end of another school year. Join us for an evening of games, activities, and prizes! Games and activities are free.

Don’t worry about dinner, there will be food trucks on site for you to grab a meal with your family and friends.

The Dunk Tank is back again this year! For many students, the change of dunking their favorite teacher was the highlight of the event. We are in the process of lining up this year’s participants. We can’t wait to see who volunteers!

Despite a cold, windy day for our Bash last year, the turn out was fantastic and the feed back was VERY positive. Families had a great time. We’ll hope for warmer weather this year for an even better experience!

This is a big event and volunteers are needed! Sign ups will come out in an email next week. Please help us make this event a success!
