Title 1 Annual meeting!

It's that time of the year again! Please join us at our Title 1 Annual Meeting. We want to continue to work with all parents & guardians to make this school year a success.

Date of Meeting: August 31st, 2022

Time: 8:00 AM (In-person & Virtual) & 4:30 PM (Virtual)

We will discuss the topics below:

Intent and Purpose of Title 1
Title 1 Funding
Programs/Supports in place to help your students
Academic Standards expected of all students

2023-2024 Title I Fall Parent Survey

Please fill out our parent survey. We use this information to improve the parent engagement activities at our school and in our school system. The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete and all of your answers will be confidential and anonymous. Only one survey should be completed per household. Parents Right To Know

In compliance with the requirements of Every Student Succeeds Act, the Griffin-Spalding County School System would like to inform you that you may request information about the professional qualifications of your student’s teacher(s) and/or paraprofessional(s).

The following information may be requested:

Whether your child's teacher has met state qualification and licensing criteria for the grade levels and subject areas in which the teacher provides instruction
Whether the teacher is teaching under emergency or other provisional status through which state qualification or licensing criteria have been waived
Whether the teacher is teaching in the field of discipline of the certification of the teacher.
Whether the child is provided services by paraprofessionals and, if so, their qualifications.
