Good afternoon Hagood families! I hope you and your family have had a wonderful weekend. We have a very exciting week ahead. Our PTO is hosting a teacher/class pumpkin contest located on our cafeteria stage and our "Be Kind to Your Mind" spirit days are as follows:

Monday - Wear red!

Tuesday - Crazy hair & sock day!

Wednesday - Wear sunglasses & a neon shirt!

Thursday - Wear a University or a College shirt!

Friday - Book Character day! (Book Character Parade at 8:30 am)

• Parents are invited to our Book Character Parade this Friday, October 27th, starting at 8:30 am. Please park in our side parking lot (car rider line) and walk through the gate to our track area. We will have a "Parent Section" roped off. Students will parade by grade level around the track and by our Parent Section! If you would like to visit our Book Fair afterwards, please exit the track area and reenter the building at the front entrance to sign-in as a visitor for safety purposes.
• Please stay in the designated viewing area. All grade levels will pass by for you to wave and take pictures!

• Safety Patrol Parents - Please make sure our safety patrol students bring warm clothing daily. They need gloves, hats, and warm jackets as colder mornings are upon us!

11/20 - 11/24 - No School, Thanksgiving Break

Let’s get excited! The Scholastic Book Fair is here! The book fair will be in the Library Media Center on Monday, October 23 - Friday, October 27, 8:15 am - 2:45 pm each day.

• Students will shop the fair during their regularly scheduled library times that week.
• Parents & Grandparents are invited to attend any time from 8:15 - 2:45.
• However, if you want to shop WITH your child, you must come during their RECESS or at the end of the day from 2:00 - 2:45.
• Important Change!!! Please Read: This year, checks will NOT be accepted. Only CASH, Credit Card, or eWallet can be used to purchase items from the fair. Setting up an eWallet for your child is the best way to send your child to school with money that they can’t lose. Visit our book fair homepage for more info.

Homeroom Teachers will be sending home the RSVP form posted below in Monday's blue folder. Please sign the bottom and return to your child's teacher and/or our Guidance Counselor if you or a family member is a Veteran and are able to join us Friday morning, November 10th.
