Meet Mrs. Krull
Hello,
I am Susan Krull and I work as the Library Assistant at Stella May Swartz School. I am thrilled to be working with such wonderful students and staff. I have been a teacher since 1991and have taught third grade and fourth grade for many years. In recent years I have found that I really love working in a school library. I have always been a lover a books and hope to share the joy of reading with the students of Swartz School. This year my husband and I will celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary on December 31st. I have a daughter, Abbey, Who has graduated from Arizona State University and is working in the healthcare field. During the summer months you could usually find me reading a book while enjoying the pool and sunshine. I have a cat named ZuZu and am a "grandma" to my daughter's dog, Winston.

I ❤️ You Guys
Standard Response Protocol
Salt Creek District 48 has adopted a new emergency protocol response from the I Love U Guys Foundation. This is a program that has been adopted by many of the schools within DuPage County. Over the summer, the administrative team attended training on the protocol and is passing along the training to all staff. We also want to make families aware of the five different protocols so you can be familiar with the language you may hear your child or the school use.

One specific thing that I greatly appreciate about Angie is that she recognizes that we are people first, who have chosen this wonderful profession of being educators. She always takes an interest in our lives outside of the four walls of our schools. She is great at building lasting connections.
