At their monthly meeting, the Board of Education approved the last day of school for Friday, June 9 for all students, and it will be a half day.

Monday, June 12 is the last work day for teachers, and it will be a full day.

School calendars are approved by the Board of Education before the start of the school year. State law dictates that inclement weather days be built into the calendar which factors into determining the last day of school. The last day is traditionally approved by the Board in April, once the potential for inclement weather has reasonably passed. No inclement weather days were used during this school year.

April 4, 2023 – The enrollment process is open for eligible four year old PreK and Kindergarten students, and all other students new to Caroline County Public Schools.

Step 1 - To enroll a new student, please visit PowerSchool Online Enrollment. New users begin by using their email address to create an account and then proceeding through the process.

Step 2 - The school office will call the phone number provided in step 1 to schedule an appointment. During the appointment, the parent/guardian will provide documentation and finish the enrollment process.

We greatly appreciate parents/guardians reviewing their child’s lunch account balance frequently and making payments ahead of time as necessary to keep the account current. If your child’s account currently has a balance, please make a payment as soon as possible so we may operate our cafeteria budget in a responsible manner. If you need assistance with a payment plan, please call Food Services at 410.479.3261.

It is important that parents call before 3 PM to request changes for dismissal. This allows sufficient time the office staff to communicate changes to the teachers and students. Last minute calls are very stressful during dismissal. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

When a student is absent from school, it is required that parents provide a note stating the reason for the absence. If the student has been to the doctor's or dentist's office, please provide the doctor's/dentist note. Without a parent's note or doctor's note, the student's absence is considered unlawful. Notes must be provided within 10 days of the absence.
