Math ACT Prep - Begins October 19
Math ACT Prep sessions from with Mrs. Conley are being held from 3:45 to 4:45 on Thursdays starting October 19. We will meet in the library every Thursday, you will need your Chromebook, paper, and pencils. We will borrow graphing calculators from Mr. Roudybush, but if you have your own graphing calculator you are welcome to bring it. An electronic version of the practice test we will be doing, you are welcome to work ahead on it.
Everyone has practices and all types of events. We would encourage you to speak with your coach, sponsors and parents about making this a priority once a week. The more you study for this test, the higher your score will be. This is one of the few tests you really can master - even if math isn't your favorite subject!
Parent/Teacher Conferences - This Month!
I encourage each of you to attend and check in with each of your student's teachers. This time is meant for short check-in meetings as opposed to long conferences.
If there is an issue that will require more time or an increased level of privacy that a traditional conference may not provide, please contact your student's teacher to schedule an alternate time for a private conference.
For spring conferences we hope to be ready to discuss scheduling options for the 2024-2025 school year. This conference set-up will look different than the traditional model that we will use this fall.
Assembly - October 26
Coach Potter is a retired basketball coach from Newman University, and travels all over the US to speak on mental motivation and encouragement. His focus is on high school and college age groups and shares an important message regarding taking care of your mental health.
