Math Class with Mrs. Hirsch
7th grade students are working on strengthening their individual math skills by working in I-Ready on “My Path" or in small groups with Mrs. Hirsch. Currently, 7th graders are working on building their geometry skills, and in small-group, are working on special angles.
Pre-Algebra Class
Students in Mrs. Murphy’s Pre-Algebra class applied their knowledge of growth and starting values to create graphs without using an x/y table. Students have been building tile patterns to make connections between tables, rules, and graphs. Students work in teams to collaborate and problem solve. Students did a great job of working together to graph rules on paper and also used Desmos which is a graphing calculator tool on CPM.
Vocal Thunder
On November 17th, a group from the Log College Chorus traveled to Pennsbury to perform in the Vocal Thunder Concert under the direction of Dr. John Leonard from The College of New Jersey.. The tenor, baritone and bass singers spent the entire day rehearsing and preparing for the afternoon concert. Congratulations to Matthew B, Max B, Jonah C, Angel C, Oleksiy D, Connor D, Jake M, Mikael P-R, Yasseen S, Owen T-H, Braylon W, and Michael W.!
Visiting "The Bank"
Log College and Klinger students with stellar Fall Fundraiser sales visited Citizens Bank Park this week.

Winter Sports
Dear Log College Families,
Winter Sports season is quickly approaching here at Log College. The Winter sports season runs from November through February and features four sports open to our 7th and 8th-grade students. Log College will be offering Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Wrestling, and Cheerleading. We are pleased to announce that, for the first time (if enough students try out), we will have Junior Varsity (JV) teams for both boys and girls basketball, providing more students with the opportunity to participate in winter sports. It's important to note that these are not exclusively 7th or 8th-grade teams but are composed of a mix of both grades.
If your child is planning to participate in any of these sports, he/she must have a physical. No student may play or practice until a physical has been received.
PIAA sports physical -
All students must have a completed PIAA physical (dated after June 1, 2023). The physical forms can be downloaded from the link - PIAA Physical Form - Updated 3/22/23 (or you can pick one up from Mr. Corey, our athletic director or any LCMS coaches).
If you have already played a sport in the Fall, you do not need to complete a new physical, but you must re-submit section 7 (Re-certification by parent/guardian) from the PIAA physical form. This page does not require seeing a doctor or medical provider.
If you did not submit a PIAA physical in the Fall, you must complete Sections 1 to 5 within the PIAA sports physical packet. This must be completed and signed by a parent or guardian. Section 6 must be completed by an authorized medical examiner (family doctor, urgent care, minute clinic). You can ignore pages 7-8.
If you cannot find an appointment time with your doctor, you may use another provider or visit a CVS Minute Clinic or visit an Urgent Care center. The Centennial School District has a partnership with Liberty Urgent Care:
If you use any of the following Liberty Urgent Care centers and mention Centennial SD, your physical will only cost $20. (Locations listed below)

Thank you,
Civics Test
Each year, in accordance with Act 35, Log College offers a Civics exam in social studies class over the next week. The material is already covered within our existing 8th grade US History class. Because of this, the exam is offered in 8th grade by the social studies department and does "count" in our Skyward grading system.
