Below are the immunization/health requirements for Middle School per the Massachusetts Department of Public

Immunizations required to enter 7th grade

Tdap (tetanus/pertussis) - Should be given if it has been 10 years or longer since last dose.

Polio- 4 doses

Hepatitis B- 3 doses

MMR (measles, mumps , rubella) 2 doses

Varicella (chicken pox) or proof of disease

Meningococcal (meningitis) 1 does to enter 7th grade NEW**

Recommended

Covid 19 (ages 12 and over)

Influenza

HPV

Hepatitis A

Physical Requirements

* Massachusetts General Law requires all students to have an updated physical (within the past year) to enter 5th grade.

All students who participate in school sports must have a physical within the past 13 months to be eligible to play/try out.

Due to the continued uncertainty of the budget and its impact on staff, student schedules for the 2021-2022 school year will not be completed until August 2021. We will continue to work on the master schedule as soon as the budget is finalized and we are able to confirm staffing for next year.

Sign-ups for middle school sports are now open. The following sports will be offered for 7th and 8th-grade girls: Volleyball, Field Hockey, and Soccer. 7th and 8th-grade boys soccer. Tryouts will start on Sept 1st at 2:45.

Grade 5-8 boys and girls will be able to compete in Cross Country.
