A Message from Coach Mary
Storm Families,
Well, not much to report on the front this week. High School swimming has started, so many of our swimmers are very tired and water-logged.
Our youngest swimmers are getting ready for their Candy Cane meet this Sunday, and we wish the best of luck to them. Hopefully, they don't eat too many candy canes!!
Thank you,
Coach Mary

GSCY Storm Names Evan Graziano as Associate Director, 13/O Competitive Aquatics
Coach Evan grew up swimming and competing in various sports, gravitating towards swimming in high school. From there, he attended Ramapo College of New Jersey, where he continued to swim for four years, enjoying success and a bevy of memories still treasured. After volunteering for a stint at his alma mater in 2018, Evan joined the staff at the Somerset Hills YMCA beginning in September of 2018. He looks forward to the continued success of both athletes and colleagues going forward.
Please join us in congratulating Coach Evan and wishing him success in his new role.
GSCY Alumni Breakfast A Success!
Our GSCY alumni also shared important information about Special Needs Undergraduate Swim Lessons (SNUGS), a non-profit organization that organizes free swim instruction for special needs children by engaging university students within their communities. A few of our alumni are already members:
- Megan Sardis and Christine Ho - Yale Chapter
- Mallika Negi - Rutgers Chapter
- Megan Chiu - Wagner Chapter
- Ryan Luo - Brown Chapter
- Kristen Sardis - U Penn Chapter
- Matt Sardis - MIT Chapter
Our alumni encouraged our HS juniors and seniors to learn more if they are interested in volunteering for this organization in college. For more information about SNUGS, please visit https://www.snugsnational.org/ or view the flyer below.
