Thanks to our PTA for coordinating our Family Reading Night this past Friday with over 200 people in attendance. A special thank you to the Escondido Fire Department, one of our parents Sheriff Smith, as well as our neighbor Mr. Scott for coming out to read with our students. It was a blast to have so many students and families come together to celebrate the love of reading!

Four More Days for our Read-a-Thon!

Thank you to all of our amazing Bernardo families for your support and generosity with our Read-a-Thon. So far, our students have read over 56,000 minutes and we've raise over $15,000!

There are four more days for our students to read and earn pledges to support our library and reading programs here at Bernardo. If you haven't yet activated your child's account, it's not too late. Simply Click HERE and follow the instructions to get ready to begin collecting pledges.

Lost & Found

Our lost and found is once again overflowing! This week, our staff will go through the bins and return any clothing or items labeled with students' names. We'll then place the bins out in front of the school this Friday as well the last three days before Winter Break to allow parents an opportunity to look through everything. During the Winter Break, we'll be donating any leftover items to charity.

Pokemon Cards

Many of our students love Pokemon cards but unfortunately, they have become a big disruption at school with cards going missing, being damaged, trades going bad (even though trading is not allowed), etc.

After Winter Break, we are asking everyone to please keep Pokemon cards at home and not bring them to school. Thank you for your support!
