Search for Books, eBooks, Print Journals and DVDs
Books in the standard collection may be borrowed for three weeks. Books placed on reserve by your professor will have a shorter loan period. Books not available from the library can be borrowed through AcademicSHARE or Interlibrary Loan (ILL). Contact the library for help. To find items held by Villa and other libraries, try WorldCat.

Find current and archived journals in the South Room in the library. Print journals can be borrowed for one week. Some additional titles are also available for single issues and archives.

This digital collection represents a portion of the full collection housed in the John Hay Library at Brown University. The selection of sheet music is from between the 1850s and the 1920s.

International Music Score Library Project's Petrucci Music Library
This music library provides access to music scores that are in the public domain. This website is designed as a wiki and scores can be searched for or browse the collection by composer, nationality, time period, instrument, genre or melody.
Music for the Nation: American Sheet Music, ca. 1870-1885 from the Library of Congress
Over 47,000 pieces of sheet for popular songs, piano music, sacred and secular choral music, solo instrumental music, method books and instructional materials, and music for bands and orchestras complete this collection.
Omaha Indian Music from the Library of Congress
This collection is from the American Folklife Center's collection that documents Omaha music traditions. It includes sound recordings, music and spoken word, images, fieldnotes, posters and programs.
This nonprofit provides open access to sheet music as well as a catalog of music recordings. Sheet music can be searched for or browsed by composer, instrument, form or period.
