WVH Welcomes Dr. Miller
We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Miller is officially a full time member of our WVH team! We cannot wait for you and your pet to meet Dr. Miller!
Hospital Policy Updates
We politely ask that clients call to cancel or reschedule any appointments that you cannot make. No show appointments take away availability to provide care to others that may need it.
Please know that our staff is working diligently to see as many patients as possible while still keeping everyone safe. In order to keep you and our staff safe, WVH will be conducting curbside service until further notice.
For curbside check in, please be sure to arrive at your appointment on time. Curbside check in takes a little longer, and we want to maximize your pets time with the doctor and keep appointments running on time. We ask that new clients have all of their paperwork filled out and submitted prior to your appointment. When you arrive in the parking lot, please call the front desk from your car. A technician will get pertinent information over the phone and meet you in front of our building to collect your pet. We kindly asked that clients wear face coverings when meeting our staff. We cannot accept a patient from a client that is not wearing a face covering. Please remain onsite unless otherwise directed.
The doctor will contact you after they have examined your pet to discuss a treatment plan. At check in, please provide the technician with a cell number that you can be reached at.
Daycare Appointments Are Alway Available
- We ask that you drop your pet off between 8-8:30AM. When you arrive, one of our staff members will speak with you regarding your concerns, and obtain contact information.
- The doctor will complete their physical examination of your pet. They will then call you to discuss their findings and recommendations over the phone. The doctors will never perform any diagnostics or treatment without consent, therefore it is very important that you are reachable during the day.
- After you have spoken with the doctor regarding a treatment plan, a pick-up time will be scheduled sometime between 2-5PM.
Email Correspondance
Email is a great way to communicate with your pets doctor! Many of our doctors utilize email to send go-home instructions, lab work results and follow up communications. Please update your email with our front desk staff. We politely ask that appointment scheduling and medication refill requests be done by calling our front desk staff at (734) 971-5800, and not with your doctor via email.
