Upcoming 5th and 6th grade conferences

Next week, our 5th and 6th grade staff will be hosting family conferences. 5th grade will have conferences on Wednesday, February 7th and Thursday, February 8th. 6th grade will have conferences on Wednesday, February 7th. 6th grade has another round of conferences in May which are student-led. Conferences are a great time to set goals for the rest of the school year and to celebrate the learning that has occurred during the first half of the year. Please know that our staff is a phone call or email away if you should have any need for asking questions or sharing concerns.

**7th and 8th grade conferences will be held in March as we started the second semester only 2 weeks ago.

Lego Donations

We are looking to create maker spaces at both the Primary and Intermediate Schools. One component of these maker spaces is a Lego Wall. We are looking for donations of Legos, and not new Lego sets but Legos you might not be using any more. Thanks for your consideration!

PTO Sweetheart Dance is February 2nd

Time is running out! RSVP for the 4th Annual Sweetheart Dance before it's too late! The dance is February 2nd, 2018 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm* in the Merton Intermediate School Gymnasium. (*Admission and photos begin at 6:15pm)

The cost is $20 per couple, $10 each additional girl (includes corsage, professional 5 x 7 photo, and snacks & sweets)

Tickets must be purchased online by Wednesday, January 24th

Mardi Gras Dance February 9th (Merton students only)

The Merton Theater Company will be hosting a Merton only Mardi Gras themed dance for all Intermediate School students on Friday, February 9th. The cost is $5 dollars at the door, with beads and concessions available for sale. We hope to see many of you there!

Trivia Night is February 24th

PTO's annual Trivia Night is Saturday, February 24th at Bristlecone Pines Golf Course. Please join us to support our PTO as they support our students, staff, and schools. There will be good food, auction items, trivia, and music. Here is a link for more information and to register.
