This week the seniors have an exciting schedule filled with celebrations and remembrance as we lead up to graduation day.
Wednesday, June 1
Graduation Rehearsal & Distribution of Caps, Gowns, Tassels, and Graduation Tickets
8:30am - Students should plan to arrive and enjoy breakfast provided by Senior Parent Volunteers prior to rehearsal.
9:00am - Front athletic field at Nipmuc. Students need to arrive promptly and report directly to the front athletic field where attendance will be taken.
As a part of rehearsal, students will receive graduation caps, tassels, gowns, and tickets.
Wednesday, June 1
Virtual Awards & Scholarship Presentation
Virtual Event - Each spring we have the honor of announcing local scholarship recipients and special award winners - recognizing the talents, accomplishments, and impact of our students.
We are as excited to celebrate our students and say thank you to the community members and groups that are supporting our students’ journey beyond high school.
Students and parents will receive an email on Wednesday evening with a link to the slideshow that announces awards and scholarships.

Graduation Rehearsal (tentative)
9:00am - Students should bring their caps and gowns (leave tassels at home). If needed, this rehearsal will be confirmed following the June 1 rehearsal with students.

Senior Walk
10:30am - When the graduation rehearsal is complete, students will board buses in their caps and gowns and continue the tradition of the “Senior Walk” in which they visit their former schools and teachers to share their future plans and receive congratulations. Buses will transport students to each school in the district where students and teachers will be lined up outside each building on school grounds to cheer for our students. Students will hold signs with their names and future plans as they walk the perimeter of each school.

Cap Decorating - Approval
Some students may opt to decorate their graduation caps. This is not a requirement. Blank caps are perfectly acceptable. Should you decide to decorate your cap, please follow the guidelines here. Students should submit a photo of their decorated cap for approval by Thursday, June 2nd. Students can email photos to Ms. Beatrice or Mrs. Miklavic at abeatrice@mursd.org or lmiklavic@mursd.org

Senior Sunset Event
7:00pm - The Class of 2022 Officers and Advisors will host their fellow Senior classmates and their families in the Nipmuc auditorium, cafeteria, and courtyard for a final evening together. Students and families will have the chance to view the senior video, receive and sign yearbooks with messages of congratulations, and then enjoy desserts and refreshments. This event is intended to be semi-formal but there is no formal dress code.
Saturday, June 4
Graduation
The 62nd Annual Commencement Exercises for Nipmuc Regional will take place on Saturday, June 4 at 10am. See this graduation information sheet for important graduation links, information, and details.
Sunday, June 5
Graduation (Rain Date)
The rain date for the event is Sunday, June 5 at 10am. Based on the weather, the time of the rain date may be adjusted. If the event is moved to Sunday, June 5 - the event will be held rain or shine.
