Practice Information
Please find registration information below. To practice, you need both your Wrestling Club Membership and your USA Card. We will print and laminate cards for wrestlers and coaches.
Follow the Steps Below for a Successful Registration
1. Become a Worland USA Wrestling Club Member ($30 Fee)

***New members must have a copy of their birth certificate turned in at the initial parent meeting.
2. Get your USA Wrestling Membership Card ($63)
The USA Wrestling Membership Card allows you to practice and allows you to compete and register for USA Wrestling Events. Your wrestler will need proof of membership at all events. The $63 includes your card fee, required insurance, and membership to WAWA (Wyoming Amateur Wrestling Association).
- Make sure to affiliate with the Worland Wrestling Club.
- You do not need to pay the extra fee for a plastic card (unless you would like one). We will print and laminate all cards and give them to you during a practice.

4. Becoming a Coach, Official, or Pairing Official
Reasons to have a leader card: In order to be mat side or on the floor at any tournament you must have a USA wrestling leader's card. Also, to be a coach or be on the floor at the state tournament you must have a Wrestling Leader Card and completed the Copper and Bronze coaching certifications. The coaching certifications can be completed online once you have purchased your card. For further information, please see a board member. www.usamembership.com

6. Important Information Discussed at Parent Meeting
- All wrestlers will be required to have headgear.
- The club has singlets for everyone to hand out with a $50 deposit.
- All money deposited will be returned when the singlet is returned in good condition.
- If you plan on wrestling freestyle, you are responsible for your own singlet.
- The club does have a wrestling shoe tote for anyone in need, it's first come first serve for sizes.
- Weigh-ins will be done by a club coach and/or official the Thursday before a tournament. You will need the actual weight for registration.
- A wrestler can only practice when the club has a copy of their birth certificate, Worland Wrestling Club Fees have been paid, and they have a USA Wrestling Card Membership.
7. Practice Information
Practice Attire:
- Wrestling Shoes, headgear, t-shirt, and shorts.
Practice Times: (Times and Dates are Subject to change based on numbers and HS Wrestling Practice)
- Parents may not sit along the mat during practice. We will need all the mat space for the safety of our athletes.
8. Worland Wrestling Tournament Feb. 15th
- PLEASE sign up at our first parent meeting. We will need every parent to work.
- Worland Wrestling Club will register your kid for the home tournament to cover the entry fee.
