Greetings TVMS families
As we eagerly anticipate the end of the year, we are excited to share some noteworthy news from our school community. This week, we had the pleasure of selecting Daniel E., an outstanding 8th grader as our school’s nominee for the 2024 Carson Scholarship. We couldn’t be prouder of Daniel’s dedication to academics and community service. If chosen as a Carson Scholar, Daniel will be awarded a $1,000 college scholarship– an incredible opportunity that reflects his hard work and commitment to excellence. We also want to acknowledge the exceptional efforts of all 15 students who applied for the nomination. The essays and community service contributions were truly impressive, making the decision a challenging one. A special congratulations to our runner-up, Sravya A. and second runner-up, Kyle L., for their outstanding accomplishments. Your commitment to excellence does not go unnoticed, and we encourage you to continue your remarkable efforts.
As we approach the final week of school in 2023, it is crucial to remind our students to stay focused on their studies and maintain our behavior expectations. The last week is an important time to wrap up the year on a positive note. Let’s encourage our students to be attentive, participate actively, and demonstrate the TVMS PRIDE behavior expectations we expect from them. As we look forward to our final winter music concert this week and other celebrations, we also want to wish all TVMS families a joyful and restful holiday season.
Thank you for your continued support.
Mrs. Denise Young, Principal
