National Walk and Bike to School Day on October 12th.
We are so excited to celebrate with our students from Caddo Downs. We are going to meet at the neighborhood pool at 7:20 and walk together to Griffis. See you there!

We are excited to host our first Lunch on the Lawn of the new school year this Friday, Sept. 2. If you plan on attending, fill out the RSVP below by Thursday, Oct.6th. We anticipate a large crowd, so arrive early in order to park and make your way to the side soccer field. You may park in the front or back of Griffis. It's going to be a great day!

The Watch D.O.G.S. Program brings male role models such as dads, stepdads, grandpas, uncles, etc. into the school for the betterment of the school, the students, and the community!!

The 2023 yearbook is now on sale! The first yearbook sales deadline is Friday 9-16. The first sales campaign starts on Tuesday 9-6 when we return from Labor Day.

Students not in the building by the 8:00 A.M. bell are considered tardy. Please refer to our campus handbook regarding our tardy policy. If your child is tardy, please do not drop your child off. For their safety, your child should be signed in. Please come to the front to sign them in.
Counselor Corner
Each month, we will focus on a particular character trait. Mrs. Wygal will give daily announcements regarding that trait to help the students put it into action. Each month, teachers will be looking for positive referrals from their class that they feel has best demonstrated the monthly trait. The trait for the month of October is Grit.
