Bluebonnet Bash Book List
To better suit our community, we decided to use half the Bluebonnet books this year and handpick the other half we know our students will love. To see this hybrid list, go to Library Reading Programs on the library website. Take a look at the sweetest book on the list. We LOVE this nostalgic new treasure! This is a must read for ages 2-99.

2x2 List-Grades K through 2
Check Out a Few of the 2x2 Books for 2021-2022
Kids can get an early start by printing the 2x2 Packet on the Lobit Library website.
A Polar Bear in the Snow
Mac Barnett has done it again. His books are hilarious and always favorites of kids. We are excited this book is on the list.
See the Cat
This is probably my favorite book on the list. It is so funny and clever, the perfect book for beginning chapter-book readers, and has nonintimidating text. Our students are going to flip for this book!
Hike by Pete Oswald
Pete Oswald created this wordless picture book about a father and child day hiking. Click this LINK to read a review by Good Reads.
PARENTS PLEASE HELP
Lobit Library lost over 100 books due to covid. If over summer, you happen to find any book with a Dickinson ISD school barcode, please send them to school with your child in August or drop them by the front office. It is never too late to get a book back. We can send books to any of our schools, so returning to any campus is FINE. There are drop boxes at the high school as well. We so appreciate your help in getting books back to our libraries so students can enjoy these for years to come!
