Technology Parent Permission Forms
Have you been checking to see if parents filled out the Technology Parent Permission Form for students in your classes? This year the forms were sent to parents through Skyward. Your campus principal has access to the response spreadsheet, which is updated daily. If you need help interpreting the spreadsheet or communicating with parents, please check out this FAQ Doc.
Vetted Tech Tools List
The Vetted Tech Tools website not only lists the approved tools for use in Prosper ISD, it also tells you how students should log in. Please check the website before using tech tools in your classroom. It can be found under the staff tab of the Prosper ISD website or click here. If you want to use a tool that is not on the list, the software approval form will open in September.
You should also make sure that all parents have filled out the permission form to use these tools through the Skyward Online Form. Check out the FAQ for help.
GoGuardian
GoGuardian Teacher provides educators with a view into student online activity and tools that help eliminate distractions and guide exploration and focus when using Google Chrome. It is a district expectation that teachers monitor students with GoGuardian when they are using technology in the classroom.
Please put in a technology help ticket if you transferred campuses this year and your access has not been updated.
