Mill Valley Weekly

Although we did not reach our goal of creating a cereal box domino path around the school, we were able to have fun on the sidewalk outside. We donated 412 boxes of cereal to the Muskego Food Pantry which made a big impact on many Muskego families.

Looking ahead, we will have professional development day for staff on Friday, May 27th. Students will enjoy the day off.

Thinking Students...Changing the World!

Hello from the MV Music Room. We are putting together a little fun musical experience for some of the kids and we need a little help from home. If you have any bowls or containers that you could spare for the music room it would be greatly appreciated (cleaned please). Here are some examples of what kinds of containers would work best:

• Cool Whip containers

• Cottage cheese containers

• Large plastic yogurt containers

• Plastic butter containers

• Any plastic bowls

If you have any extra that you could donate to the music room it would be greatly appreciated. We would love to have them available by Tuesday, May 31st.

Please see THIS IMPORTANT MESSAGE regarding your student's medication that is stored in the health room. All medications should be picked up by the last day of school.

If you would like your child to check out 10-15 books from the library, please fill out the attached form. Students who have permission will visit the library the last week of school to select books for summer reading. We will work with teachers to schedule time for students to come to the library for their books. Please submit the form by June 1, 2022.

Marci's Story

When my son was in kindergarten, I went to my first MV PTO meeting. I enjoyed knowing what was going on at school and meeting the MV staff. I continued attending the PTO meetings throughout the years and then decided to become Treasurer a few years ago. As my son’s time at MV has come to an end, I’m reflecting on what an amazing community Mill Valley is. Being the Treasurer has been hard work, but the ladies on the Board are amazing and we have become friends. Thanks for supporting Mill Valley’s PTO and our fundraisers throughout the years. It allows us to host fun events and purchase much needed items for the MV students/staff. I will miss MV, but look forward to the new times at Lake Denoon with my son.
