Student Leadership Opportunity:

If you are interested in becoming a Leader in Me school leader, the student Lighthouse will be hosting interviews on March 16th. The deadline for applications is March 14th. You can pick up an application from the Media Center or the School Counselor's Office. Please see Mrs. Walker, Mrs. Phelps, or Mrs. Hodges if you have any questions.

NAHS Talent Show

NAHS Talent Show will be on March 17 at 6 pm. There will be 3 categories performance, music, and visual arts. Each category will have a winner. Please see Mrs. Manning in room 607 for questions. You may also pick up forms from Mrs. Hall or Mrs. Hodges in the media center.

Prom Candy Sales

Students that want to sell candy to pay for their prom ticket can sign up in the guidance office, media center, or outside Mrs. Cowart’s room 416. The deadline to sign up is Monday, March 6th.

2023 Art Contest

We're excited to announce our fifth annual ESS Art Contest! Students in grades K-12 are invited to submit a drawing, painting, or digital piece on the topic: If you could take a class field trip anywhere, where would you go?

When you're on assignment, please help us spread the word about this promising opportunity for young artists. Winning students will receive a $500 gift card, plus a $500 gift card for their school!

We're accepting submissions now through Sunday, March 12th at 8:00 pm Eastern Time. For more details, please visit ArtContest.ESS.com.

Daily Expectations:

  • No hats or hoodies worn in the building, no tight fitting clothes, no pants with holes above the knees or short shorts, no short shirts.

  • No cell phone use between 7:50 and 3:10

  • Be on time to class every block.

  • Attend school regularly.

  • Clean up behind yourself.
