Spotlight on Third Grade!
Third grade has been very busy! We learned about nonfiction in reading and writing, and even wrote our own books on a topic of our choice. Now we are learning about biographies and poetry! In math we are beginning our unit on fractions. Learning about matter was a lot of fun in science, and now we are jumping right into our social studies economics unit. We have been working hard to ROAR in the classroom by showing respect, being on task, having a positive attitude, and being responsible. Keep up the great work third grade, your teachers are VERY proud of you!
Spotlight on PE!
In Physical Education we have been working on how to implement skill development into gameplay through working on practicing skill work activities for practice, and using those skills to implement into gameplay of sports. We have worked on dribbling, passing, and shooting skills to use for the game of basketball, as well as working on improving our cardiovascular systems so that we are in better physical shape with healthy hearts, so that students are able to perform to the best of their abilities in all activities.
