- Ancillary staff members (resource room teachers, teacher consultants, speech pathologists, social worker, etc.) should submit the accommodations worksheets to the building administrator as soon as possible.
Recording and Tracking Resources
Listed below are optional worksheets and should be kept in-district if used. Please note that some accommodations are grayed out because these are not available for a particular grade level and/or content area. Also, this is not a full list of available universal tools, designated supports, and accommodations available to students. A full list can be found by going to www.michigan.gov/mstep and reviewing the Supports and Accommodations Table.
Developed from Portage Public Schools Worksheet.
PRIOR TO TESTING - Practice Items and Tutorials
All 3rd through 5th grade classes should be exposed to the testing format prior to the testing window. The directions below explain how to access practice test items and view student-narrated video tutorials. You must use Google Chrome as your web browser when accessing the site.
The student tutorials are designed to be shared in a group setting such as the classroom, using a projector, etc. An important component of the Student Tutorials is to teach students how to PAUSE and EXIT rather than ending the test before they are finished. This will allow them to to resume the test later. Students should only click the Review/End Test button when they have finished the test.
